Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily warehouse, transportation, and supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of operations staff, conducting performance reviews and fostering a positive work environment.
- Analyze operational data and metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements (Lean, Six Sigma methodologies preferred).
- Manage the departmental budget, including forecasting expenses and controlling operational costs within established guidelines.
- Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to ensure inventory levels meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Ensure full compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
- Prepare detailed reports for executive leadership regarding operational performance and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various facility locations as needed.
