Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse and distribution center operations, ensuring KPIs exceed targets by 15% quarterly
- Lead process optimization initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce costs
- Manage 15+ cross-functional teams including logistics, inventory, and quality control
- Develop annual operational budgets and implement cost-saving measures
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to maintain seamless supply chain flow
- Implement safety protocols achieving zero OSHA incidents
- Generate data-driven reports for executive leadership and board presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive operations management experience in logistics/retail
- Proven track record implementing WMS/TMS systems and automation
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and Power BI
- OSHA 30 certification and Hazmat handling experience
- Experience managing unionized teams and labor negotiations
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends during peak seasons
