Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics distribution.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and supervise a diverse team of logistics coordinators and operational staff to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and implement lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and report on financial performance to senior leadership.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety protocols.
- Vendor Relations: Negotiate contracts with third-party logistics providers and suppliers to secure favorable terms and quality service.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on operational metrics, KPIs, and trends to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, supply chain, or logistics.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain management software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and strategic thinking.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by business needs.
