Responsibilities
- Operational Strategy: Develop and implement robust operational strategies that align with company goals, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and supervise a diverse team of operations staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and supply chain processes to identify bottlenecks and implement innovative, data-driven solutions.
- Resource Management: Manage budgets, inventory levels, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost control.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations strictly comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety standards.
- Performance Reporting: Generate detailed reports on operational KPIs and present findings to senior leadership to drive decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operations management or a related role, preferably in the logistics or manufacturing sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage conflict effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to stakeholders.
