Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Direct the day-to-day activities of the warehouse and logistics department to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and implement Lean Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and improve overall efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse team of supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, manage stock accuracy, and coordinate with procurement to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, controlling costs while maintaining service quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain management.
