Responsibilities
- Manage 8-12 person night shift team including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee warehouse operations including inventory control, order fulfillment, and equipment maintenance
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize workflow efficiency and productivity metrics during overnight operations
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless operational handovers
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
- Conduct regular quality checks and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with night shift leadership
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
