Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ person night shift team, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity targets
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols for overnight warehouse operations
- Coordinate inventory management activities including cycle counts and audits
- Optimize workflow efficiency using WMS systems and process improvements
- Handle customer service inquiries and resolve operational escalations
- Train new hires on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
- Generate shift reports and communicate daily performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with night shift leadership
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery operation experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures
