Responsibilities
- Oversee 15-20 night shift team members to ensure efficient order processing and inventory management
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Optimize workflow using WMS systems to achieve 99.8% order accuracy targets
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and real-time performance coaching
- Coordinate with day shift teams for smooth transition and operational continuity
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and supply chain exceptions
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with 1+ year in night shift leadership
- OSHA 30 certification and forklift operation credentials required
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make autonomous decisions
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional team coordination
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environment (40-50°F)
- Valid Michigan driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred
