Responsibilities
- Oversee nightly warehouse operations including inventory control, order fulfillment, and equipment maintenance
- Lead and mentor a team of 8-12 night shift associates, ensuring performance standards and safety compliance
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with day shift teams for seamless workflow transitions
- Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA regulations
- Manage inventory discrepancies and resolve logistical challenges in real-time
- Prepare nightly performance reports and shift handover documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience with proven night shift leadership
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make autonomous decisions
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating across departments
- Physical ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Associates degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
