Responsibilities
- Oversee all night shift warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, and shipping
- Train and mentor 8-12 night shift associates on safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Implement and optimize inventory control systems using WMS software
- Coordinate with day shift managers for seamless operational handovers
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems appropriately
- Generate nightly performance reports and productivity metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supply chain management experience
- Previous night shift supervisory role preferred
- OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Forklift certification and heavy equipment operation skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
