Responsibilities
- Manage 10-15 night shift associates, ensuring productivity and safety compliance
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments using WMS systems
- Conduct nightly inventory audits and report discrepancies
- Implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Resolve operational issues during peak hours
- Collaborate with day shift managers for seamless transitions
- Ensure OSHA compliance and workplace safety protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience
- Valid forklift certification required
- Proficiency in inventory management software
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during night hours
- Basic knowledge of NYC logistics routes
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
