Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ team members during overnight shifts, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Coordinate receiving, storage, and distribution of high-value perishable goods
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols for material handling equipment
- Optimize warehouse layout and inventory management systems
- Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate operational records
- Train and mentor new employees on SOPs and quality control processes
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in cold chain logistics
- OSHA 30 certification and forklift operator license required
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Spanish bilingual preferred for diverse team communication
- Flexibility to work weekends during peak seasons
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
