Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse associates during the night shift to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor daily operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring all KPIs are met.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper maintenance and inspection of forklifts and material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
