Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 night shift employees to maintain operational efficiency and safety protocols
- Coordinate inventory management, order fulfillment, and dock activities during overnight shifts
- Implement process improvements to optimize warehouse productivity and reduce errors
- Conduct daily safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance across all operations
- Manage performance reviews, training, and conflict resolution for night shift staff
- Collaborate with day shift teams for seamless transition and operational continuity
- Generate nightly performance reports and communicate key metrics to leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience, preferably in night shift operations
- OSHA certification and strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Proven ability to lead teams in high-pressure, overnight environments
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Forklift certification and experience with automated systems
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed
