Responsibilities
- Oversee daily night shift operations, ensuring all workflows are executed efficiently and safely.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and coordinate with day shift supervisors to ensure continuity.
- Conduct nightly safety inspections and enforce company safety policies to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, providing constructive feedback and performance evaluations.
- Manage and resolve operational issues in real-time, including equipment malfunctions or personnel conflicts.
- Prepare and review accurate end-of-shift reports, including productivity metrics and inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure all loading docks and storage areas are organized and compliant with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or WMS systems).
- Proven track record of enforcing safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
