Responsibilities
- Oversee 12-person night shift team, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity targets are met
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, achieving zero-incident performance metrics
- Optimize warehouse workflow using WMS systems to maintain 99.8% order accuracy
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and real-time performance monitoring during peak hours
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with day shift management for seamless transitions
- Train and mentor staff on new equipment and process improvements
- Manage inventory counts and reconciliation processes with precision
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with night shift supervision
- OSHA certification and advanced forklift operation credentials
- Proficient in WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and warehouse automation
- Strong problem-solving skills with proven conflict resolution track record
- Ability to work independently during low-traffic hours while maintaining team visibility
- Experience leading teams of 10+ in high-volume distribution environments
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as operational needs dictate
