Responsibilities
- Oversee 15-20 night shift team members, ensuring safety protocols and efficiency standards are maintained
- Coordinate inventory management, cycle counts, and material flow using WMS systems
- Implement process improvements to optimize warehouse operations and reduce errors
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and performance evaluations for team members
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors for seamless operational handovers
- Resolve escalated issues related to equipment, staffing, or inventory discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift exposure
- Proficiency in WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied temperature conditions
- Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
