Responsibilities
- Oversee 15-20 person night shift team, coordinating daily pick/pack/ship activities for high-value electronics
- Implement and enforce OSHA/EPA safety protocols during peak nocturnal operations
- Optimize inventory flow using WMS systems to maintain 99.8% accuracy metrics
- Resolve operational escalations with real-time communication to day-shift counterparts
- Conduct pre-shift safety briefings and performance coaching sessions
- Manage dock equipment maintenance and facility security protocols
- Generate shift performance reports for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in 24/7 operations environment
- OSHA 30 certification and hazardous materials handling expertise
- Advanced proficiency in WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong conflict resolution skills for high-pressure nocturnal settings
- Forklift certification (sit-down and reach truck)
- Experience with temperature-controlled storage for sensitive electronics
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
