Responsibilities
- Oversee 10-15 person night shift team during peak operational hours
- Implement and optimize warehouse safety protocols and OSHA compliance
- Coordinate inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide targeted coaching to team members
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues appropriately
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory counts and operational metrics
- Collaborate with day shift teams for seamless operational handovers
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with night shift supervision
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development record
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
