Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 night shift team members, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize warehouse operations for overnight order fulfillment accuracy and speed
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols during non-business hours
- Coordinate with day shift managers for seamless transition and inventory reconciliation
- Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly
- Analyze operational metrics to identify efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience, preferably in night shift environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory management
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development record
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions overnight
- Experience with OSHA safety audits and compliance documentation
- Valid Maryland driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand/walk for extended periods
