Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ person night shift team with performance coaching and conflict resolution
- Optimize inventory management systems for 24/3 fulfillment accuracy
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain zero-accident standards
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with day shift and transportation teams
- Utilize WMS software to track KPIs and report operational metrics
- Conduct shift handovers and maintain detailed operational documentation
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and vendor relationships
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency gains
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation credentials
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong data analysis skills with Excel/Power BI expertise
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (11PM-7AM)
- Proven team leadership with performance management experience
- Valid Illinois driver's license and clean driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations preferred
