Responsibilities
- Oversee 15-20 person night shift team, ensuring efficient workflow and safety compliance
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts during off-peak hours
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless operations handover
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize warehouse processes
- Investigate and resolve operational issues during overnight hours
- Train and mentor new team members on equipment and procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in 3PL or manufacturing
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills across shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
