Responsibilities
- Manage 8-10 person night shift team, ensuring KPIs for order accuracy and timeliness are met
- Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, and warehouse security protocols
- Train staff on WMS systems, safety procedures, and equipment operation
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless handovers and problem resolution
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations (COSHH, LOLER)
- Prepare shift reports and performance metrics for daily management review
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift exposure
- IOSH or equivalent health and safety certification
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong leadership skills with conflict resolution abilities
- Forkift license (RTITB or equivalent) preferred
- GCSE Maths/English or equivalent qualification
- Ability to work autonomously and make data-driven decisions
