Responsibilities
- Oversee Night Operations: Manage daily warehouse activities during the night shift to ensure seamless operations from receiving to shipping.
- Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular cycle counts and manage stock levels using our WMS to maintain 99.9% accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily safety audits of the work environment.
- Team Leadership: Mentor night shift associates, conduct shift briefings, and resolve operational issues in real-time.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors and initiate corrective actions immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and reports regarding inventory movements and operational performance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Forklift Certification: Must possess a valid forklift license or be willing to obtain one.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues efficiently.
