Responsibilities
- Oversee 15-20 member night shift team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Implement lean inventory management systems to achieve 99.5% accuracy targets
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with day shift supervisors and transportation teams
- Conduct daily safety audits and ensure strict OSHA/ISO 9001 compliance
- Optimize warehouse layout and material handling processes using WMS systems
- Manage cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of high-value inventory
- Resolve operational escalations and maintain 24/7 communication protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in night shift leadership
- OSHA 30 certification and Forklift Operator Trainer (LO/TO) credentials
- Proficiency with WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred
- Experience managing unionized workforce in a unionized facility
- Advanced Excel skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex logistics issues
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR for facility access
