Responsibilities
- Direct and optimize all night shift warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Lead and develop a 15+ person overnight team through performance coaching and process improvements
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance protocols and safety standards for night operations
- Coordinate with day shift management for seamless workflow transitions and inventory accuracy
- Analyze operational metrics to drive efficiency gains and reduce processing times by 20%
- Manage technology systems including WMS, barcode scanners, and automated sorting equipment
- Collaborate with logistics vendors to ensure timely dock scheduling and transportation coordination
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in night shift leadership
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory management software
- OSHA 30 certification and strong knowledge of safety regulations for overnight operations
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in high-volume distribution environments
- Advanced problem-solving skills with experience optimizing complex logistics workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field preferred
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
