Responsibilities
- Oversee nightly warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage team of 10-15 overnight staff including scheduling and performance coaching
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance during all shift operations
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software (SAP experience preferred)
- Coordinate with day-shift teams for operational continuity and issue resolution
- Analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Handle emergency situations and make real-time operational decisions
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience with night shift leadership
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong problem-solving skills and crisis management abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- Experience with automated conveyor systems and AS/RS technology
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
