Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate 8-12 member night shift team to ensure efficient order fulfillment and inventory accuracy
- Implement safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections to maintain OSHA compliance
- Optimize workflow processes using WMS systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Train and mentor new associates on warehouse procedures, forklift operation, and quality standards
- Resolve operational issues and communicate priorities between shifts to maintain seamless operations
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies with precision
- Collaborate with day shift leadership to align on strategic objectives and process improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience with night shift leadership background
- OSHA certification and forklift operating license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS) and MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory control and process optimization
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics preferred
