Responsibilities
- Oversee 8-12 member night shift team, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and safety compliance
- Implement inventory control protocols including cycle counts, audits, and documentation
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to maximize productivity during overnight operations
- Train and mentor staff on equipment operation (RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Coordinate with day shift leadership for seamless operational handovers
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and operational disruptions
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain incident-free work environment
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supply chain experience with 1+ year in supervisory role
- OSHA 30 certification and forklift operating license required
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent leadership abilities with conflict resolution experience
- Ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions
- Flexible availability with reliable transportation for overnight shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
