Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate 8-12 person night shift team including task assignment and performance monitoring
- Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts and reconciliation procedures
- Maintain OSHA compliance and enforce safety protocols across all warehouse activities
- Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Coordinate cross-functional workflows with receiving, shipping, and quality control departments
- Implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce operational bottlenecks
- Generate daily shift reports and maintain digital documentation systems
- Act as primary point of contact for overnight client inquiries and issue resolution
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience with night shift supervision background
- OSHA 30-hour certification and Forklift Operator certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in process optimization
- Excellent communication skills with ability to lead diverse teams
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in climate-controlled warehouse environment
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and reporting
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record
