Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and sort merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy before processing.
- Organization: Keep storage areas tidy and organized to ensure efficient workflow during the night shift.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips and delivery confirmations, accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills.
