Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and stock incoming goods to ensure inventory accuracy and organization.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and secure.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery to move heavy loads within the facility.
- Quality Control: Perform daily quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before shipping.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance on warehouse equipment and workstations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with day-shift teams to ensure a seamless handover of operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) or 4th shift (12:00 AM - 8:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Reliability: A consistent track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
