Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy before processing.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to strict SOPs to ensure on-time delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
