Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, ensuring cargo security.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts and maintain organized warehouse inventory systems to ensure product availability.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with speed and precision to meet daily shipping targets.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment center environment is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Equipment Operation: Basic knowledge of warehouse machinery (forklift, conveyor belts) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
