Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Execute efficient loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring timely distribution of goods to our clients.
- Inventory Management: Utilize handheld scanners and WMS systems to maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse floor to maximize workflow efficiency.
- Reporting: Monitor stock discrepancies and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervision.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Licensing: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical tasks for 8+ hours.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use scanning devices.
