Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments accurately and efficiently during the night shift.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts) and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Assist in loading outbound trucks and ensuring all cargo is secured properly.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM) on a rotational basis.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory management.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 25kg) and standing for extended periods.
- Valid UK driving license (Class B) is a plus but not essential.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
