The Role
As a Night Shift Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of our critical infrastructure. You will work autonomously and collaboratively with the day team to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and system performance during off-peak hours.
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks, patches, and updates to ensure system security.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported during the night shift with minimal supervision.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA) are a plus.
