Responsibilities
- Oversee 10-15 night shift team members, ensuring operational efficiency and safety compliance
- Coordinate inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes
- Implement performance metrics and conduct shift briefings/debriefings
- Address immediate operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
- Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and company safety protocols
- Prepare shift reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with day shift teams for seamless transition of operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience, preferably in night shift operations
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid New York State driver's license (for facility transport duties)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software
