Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing machinery and production equipment in strict adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine quality control checks and inspections to ensure all products meet company specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Load, unload, and move materials, parts, and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling equipment.
- Monitor production output and report any equipment malfunctions or material defects immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Collaborate effectively with the night shift team to achieve daily production targets and efficiency goals.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including time logs and inventory reports, with high accuracy.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends as needed.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret technical gauges and labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
