Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain warehouse operations during overnight hours, ensuring inventory accuracy and safety protocols
- Coordinate with day-shift teams for seamless handover and critical task prioritization
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) with precision and certification compliance
- Respond to emergency maintenance alerts and execute corrective actions promptly
- Generate daily performance reports and identify operational improvement opportunities
- Train and mentor new night shift associates on company procedures
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations
- Valid forklift certification and ability to pass equipment operation assessment
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work autonomously during off-hours
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent communication skills for cross-shift collaboration
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
