Responsibilities
- Oversee Night Operations: Manage daily warehouse activities, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently during the night shift.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a diverse team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and morale.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with day-shift teams for replenishment, and conduct nightly inventory audits.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all machinery and equipment are operational and perform routine safety checks.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze operational reports to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Issue Resolution: Handle emergency situations and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams in a high-volume environment.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Technology: Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
