Responsibilities
- Oversee daily night shift operations to ensure all KPIs and service level agreements are met.
- Manage, train, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse staff and night supervisors.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate closely with day shift management for seamless operations.
- Resolve operational issues in real-time and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct regular safety briefings, shift handovers, and performance reviews.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track productivity and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management role.
- Previous experience working in a night shift environment is essential.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Relevant management certification (e.g., CIPS, NEBOSH) is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
