Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of local area networks and server systems during night operations.
- Respond to and resolve IT support tickets, including hardware and software issues, in a timely manner.
- Perform routine system backups, updates, and patch management to ensure security.
- Conduct remote troubleshooting for remote employees and on-site support for staff.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand over critical issues and ensure continuity of service.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Valid CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
