Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server health, network performance, and hardware infrastructure during night hours.
- Provide immediate technical support and troubleshooting for internal staff and clients.
- Perform routine software updates, patch management, and system backups to ensure data integrity.
- Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Conduct nightly security audits and access control checks.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand over critical issues and status reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking protocols (TCP/IP).
- Ability to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
