Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-bandwidth neural interface protocols for next-gen BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) hardware.
- Optimize real-time data transmission between cortical implants and cloud-based AI processing units.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate machine learning models directly into neural feedback loops.
- Ensure the security and privacy of neural data streams against emerging cyber-threats.
- Conduct rigorous stress testing on neural interfaces under variable environmental conditions.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Neuroscience, or Electrical Engineering with a focus on signal processing.
- 5+ years of experience in low-latency systems, embedded systems, or bio-medical engineering.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and FPGA programming.
- Deep understanding of deep learning architectures and their application to neuro-data.
- Experience working with government or defense contractors regarding secure communications.
