Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize shipping routes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and coordinate rush orders when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Assist in the training of junior logistics staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
