Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to resolve logistical discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all shipping documentation, bills of lading, and delivery logs.
- Process and verify purchase orders, ensuring inventory levels meet operational demands.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to update shipment statuses and track freight performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot supply chain bottlenecks to improve overall operational efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation are highly desirable.
