Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve logistical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal shipping regulations and safety standards.
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Assist in training new warehouse staff on proper handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Process and verify invoices and bills of lading to prevent errors and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record preferred.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
