Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely and efficiently load and unload inbound and outbound shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and label products according to customer orders and shipping standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts to ensure data integrity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and cross-functional teams to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure proper packaging to prevent product loss during transit.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification is a major plus but we will train qualified candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance record and punctuality are essential for this role.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
