Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Produce quarterly foresight reports with actionable insights for product development, market entry, and investment decisions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on emerging technology adoption pathways and disruption vectors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and innovation hubs to capture early-stage signals
- Design and implement a '2026 Readiness Index' to measure organizational preparedness for future shifts
- Represent the company at global futurism forums and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and analysts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of professional experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term vision frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and weak signal analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar program)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
